Associate Director, Student RecruitmentLocation:Saudi Arabia * The primary objective of the Associate Director is to lead and direct a team of recruitment professionals in order to secure volumes of applications from highly able prospective students from around the world. * Recruitment is a partnership between the Admissions and Student Recruitment Office and faculty, and so the Associate Director will act as an advocate for the University within Divisions, and for Divisions within the University. * Produce periodic reports detailing activities undertaken and planned for scrutiny by senior management. * Develop reports and conduct analysis to assess the efficacy of activities and initiatives and return on investment. * Develop customer relation management tools to deliver high quality and timely communications to prospects. * Work with faculty and the systems team within the KAUST Admissions Office to identify, assess and promote system and process improvements. * Prepare detailed budget plans and forecasts for approval by the Director * Support the development of integrated technological systems for Graduate Affairs and Registrar?s Office for efficient capturing of student data and easy reporting of information. * Provide feedback/suggestions to the wider Admissions and Student Recruitment Office team and management * Any other duties as are from time to time required by the Director of Admissions and Student Recruitment. * Strong leadership and people management skills (essential). * Ability to plan strategically, whilst responding flexibly to emerging priorities (essential). * Project management skills (essential). * Strong communication skills (written and oral), ability to interact effectively with individuals form a variety of cultural backgrounds and at various levels with the University (essential). * Ability to work within both a team and independently (essential). * Recognize the importance of time-sensitive deadlines and meet the demand of a high pressure office environment (essential). * Sensitive to a multicultural applicant field and work environment (essential) * Commitment to continuous improvement and collegiality (essential) * Willingness to work flexibly depending on the demands of the time (essential) * Minimum of 8 years or more of experience in graduate student recruitment and outreach activities or a related field (essential). * Understanding of international higher education (essential). * Knowledge of admissions and/or marketing (desirable).
