Associate Director Cost Management: (Riyadh, KSA)QualificationsDegree in relevant discipline

  • Essential Criteria
In-depth knowledge and experience commercial management of projects at both pre-& post contract stageMiddle East construction market experience in last 4-5 years preferableMiddle East construction experience added benefit, delivery experience in Saudi Arabia would be a differentiatorGood contract, commercial and financial understanding, minimum 15 years post qualification experienceExcellent written English for preparation of task orders, contract letters and communicationsGood negotiation skills to agree sub-contracts with third partiesPrevious experience in government departments/client-side rolesLarge company & project financial control systems use & understandingLarge companys internal governance procedures will be an added factorGood attention to detail and ability to review invoices and contracts prior to issue
  • Desirable Criteria
Professional Membership (MICE, MRICS, MCIPS)Knowledge of KSA contract lawKnowledge of MCIPS
  • Responsibilities
Contract interpretation and advice/actionClient and stakeholder managementExecutive level reportingInternal programme managementInternal governance managementManaging and assisting technical teams to prepare task orders / work packagesMaintaining rolling revenue & profit forecastsReporting on project performanceLeveraging project commercial performance - revenues and costsEnsure time charge hours properly captured and invoiced on timeManagerial / Client facing position

Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised UniversityMust have previous experience of FIDIC ContractsStrong contractual, commercial and financial knowledgeMin 15 years pre and/or post-contract relevant capacity in contracts and commercial managementMust have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 10 yearsMust have minimum of 4 years Middle East experience preferredProject management acumenGood communication skillsAt will with Clients presentations / submissions regarding cost management deliverablesPolitically awareTeam player, team leaderA competitive salary
