Assistant Building Information Modeling ManagerDivision: Projects Delivery Department: Design Company: The Red Sea Development CompanyJob PurposeThe Assistant BIM Manager will support the project teams to manage all BIM delivery activities during design, construction and handover to operations for The Red Sea Project assets. The BIM Manager will be part of the Digital Delivery team that has responsibility to deliver the Red Sea digital twin and enable the Smart Destination strategy through the use of digital techniques such as BIM, GIS, Data Capture and Management aligning to delivery methods such as off-site manufacture. Responsible for managing the consistent delivery of information, including models, drawings, schedules, reports, and asset data in accordance with TRSDC requirements and contract agreements, by the design consultants and contractors. Assist in defining the project information requirements for deliverables during design, construction, and handover to facilities management and operations teams. Act as the primary point of contact for specific packages for TRSDC project teams.Job ResponsibilitiesDigital Delivery Implementation* Assist in the development of the BIM implementation plan projects, responding to project needs and requirements. * Responsible for identifying and implementing digital technologies to project delivery teams. * Works with Project Delivery teams to identify and resolve issues using digital techniques. * Leads the use of BIM for assets in Design, Construction and handover to Operations at a Package level. * Management of external BIM delivery teams to ensure BIM quality is to The Red Sea Project standards through project audits and quality controls. * Initiate BIM through project kick-offs with new consultants and contractors. * Identifies areas of potential automation using digital techniques and assists in implementation of those improvements. * Facilitates internal training as and when required. * Represents Digital at project and company management meetings, both internally and externally. * Contributes to the development of processes, procedures, templates and model content for project delivery use. * Identify future potential technology trends to be exploited at an enterprise or project level.Qualification & Experience* Minimum of 5 years? industry experience since graduation, of which the last 3 years was in a BIM related role on major projects. * Middle East/UAE Project Delivery experience preferred. * International BIM Management experience, in accordance with ISO 19650. * Management of a team of 5 or more, including internal resources or external stakeholders.
