Please make sure to complete an application by clicking here for this job posting.The individual will provide art instruction to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in self-contained 6:1:1, 6:1:3, and 12:1(3+1) classes. The individual must have knowledge regarding students with significant emotional and behavioral disabilities, including cognitive delays. Strong behavior management and leadership skills, and the ability to modify curriculum to meet students needs are required. The individual must be a team player and work collaboratively with support staff. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training, an understanding of autism, and best practices in working with students with disabilities are preferred. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate certification upon hire. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change.
