Architect (Concept Design)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Architect to join our team in KSA (remote location).The selected candidate will manage the full spectrum of architecture design for different asset types across multiple NEOM Regions and will serve as a capable professional in an architectural design team, leading work on specific elements of a project with minimal direction and supervision of a Senior Architect or senior team member.Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing NEOM architecture design style
• Managing the design by creative approach and aesthetic design
• Responsible to deliver various architectural design types: residential, commercial,
• Strong ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and presentations
• Qualitative architectural design review, comment, and recommendation
• Draft comprehensive architectural sets from concept until detailed design documents
• Develop and review architectural asset briefs
• Prepare SoW, specifications, reports and related data tables.
• Take initiative to develop design manuals, standard design documents
• Technical detailing and construction administration experience
• Research on new technologies and trends
• Produce deliverables in accordance with NEOM standards and policies.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 10+ years post undergraduate of outstanding architectural design and management experience
• Design experience in various architectural types: residential, commercial, public healthcare, educational, etc.
• Experience in Middle East is highly appreciated
• Understanding of scope definition and scope interface and ability to transmit the same to others.
• Knowledge of international standards, policies, codes and procedures and ability to transmit the same to others.
• Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements,
• Knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements.
• Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles

• Effective use of electronic processes and procedures to increase quality and efficiency
• Solid knowledge of products, materials, zoning / building codes and construction methods
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines on budget and on time
• A keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative in response to direction from project managers, directors and partners
• A team player, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaborating

Qualifications:

• B.Arch or B.Sc, in Architecture from a recognized university
• Postgraduate In Architecture
• International Accreditations (RIBA, AIA, or equivalent) is preferred
• Sustainability Certification (LEED, PQP, or equivalent) is preferred
• Published architectural/design works is highly appreciated
• Academic experience and access to architectural teaching is highly appreciated
