Job Purpose To plan, conduct, and refine applied research theories and techniques in the wildlife and natural heritage areas in AIUIa, Khaybar, and Taymas under RCU control in order to understand, solve and provide insight into specific empirical problems and needs.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesFunctional ResponsibilitiesResearches, benchmarks, and implements best practices in research, studying, documenting, and archiving natural heritage species in order to ensure that the RCU conserves its natural flora and fauna and to inform decision-making. Support in Planning and applies research techniques in order to establish and maintain an accurate knowledge base of the wildlife and natural heritage within the geographies managed by the RCU. Assist in creating a budget and timeline that delivers accurate, timely, and cost-effective solutions while adhering to agreements. Provides expert opinions and insights and scalable solutions to the research findings to relevant Departments in order to inform decision-making and empirical problem-solving. Presents data and content gathered from applied research methods in an audience-engaging manner in order to complement AIUIa, Khaybar, and Taymas natural reserves and to enhance community awareness and advocacy. Bridges the gap between theory and practice in order to co-innovate with relevant departments to optimize Wildlife and Natural Heritage research and findings. Prepares timely and accurate reports and statements in order to present to the business and to meet business requirements, policies, and quality standards. Researches and analyses trends within wildlife and natural heritage research techniques in order to contribute toward future development within AIUIa, Khaybar, and Taymas Wildlife and Natural Heritage. Assist and train early career scientists and technicians on fieldwork, data collection, and analysis techniques.
