Job Description

Position: Algorithm Team Lead/ManagerLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaOverview: We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Algorithm Team Lead or Manager with a strong academic and international background. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field and substantial experience in AI and large language models (LLM). This role requires a professional with research expertise, leadership qualities, and a proven track record in publishing and patents. Candidates with international experience across prominent tech companies are preferred.Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI algorithms and technologies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to ensure the organization remains a leader in AI innovation.
  • Drive the publication of impactful research papers and the filing of patents to strengthen the companys intellectual property.
  • Represent the company at international conferences and media platforms, highlighting research and development achievements.
  • Mentor and guide a team of researchers, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions, industry partners, and key stakeholders for collaborative research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product development, and business teams to integrate R&D outcomes effectively.
Qualifications:
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related field (less experience may be considered for exceptionally qualified PhD candidates).
  • At least 10 years of research experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Extensive experience in AI and Large Language Models (LLM).
  • Proven track record of research publications, patents, and other significant contributions to the AI field.
  • Experience with top-tier technology companies.
  • Extensive international experience, demonstrating adaptability in diverse professional settings.

  • Deep expertise in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Note: This role prioritizes candidates with a PhD and substantial research experience, although exceptional PhD holders with less experience may also be considered.
