The HBT Regulatory Team has an immediate opportunity for an Advanced Certification Engineer - Project Manager Regulatory & Compliance within our Global Regulatory Team. The preferred candidate will be highly motivated with demonstrated initiative, and have product design expertise and deep knowledge of product development methodologies within a regulated environmentKEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Act as a Project Manager responsible for high priority projects and initiatives within the Global Regulatory team. Ensure the team is effective in the following areas:* Estimate, Plan, Execute large and medium business impact Regulatory/Certification projects within HBT.* Mentor and train team members. Advise staff on process methodologies and procedures. * Anticipate changes to and review products for compliance to mandated product performance requirements for Global Markets.* Interpret product standard requirements and advise engineering teams on product design strategies to ensure compliance. * Anticipate changes to and review new products for compliance to RoHS, EPR, and Reach requirements for EU and similar.* Monitor and anticipate changes to emerging regulations within global markets impacting HBT products.* Develop global strategies in partnership with Regulatory service providers to reduce cycle time. * Ensure Honeywell product development methodologies including Agile, release trains, and waterfall methodologies yield maximum efficiency and benefits.* Product design areas include mechanical design, electrical design, and software design/functionality.YOU MUST HAVE* BS/international equivalent)in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (English is required). * 5 years of experience with new product development, or approvals within a certified laboratory* 3 years of full lifecycle project management experienceWE VALUE* Strong problem-solving skills: prioritize, identify root causes & take corrective actions* Experience with relevant certification agencies: UL/ULC, ETL, CSA, TUV, BRE, CNPP AFNOR, VDS* Engineering product development or design validation experience* Proactive team fostering behavior & passion to get on time results* Proven experience to engage multidisciplinary teams to resolve problems* Ability to learn and utilize lab equipment and relevant software* German, French or Mandarin speaking abilityCompensation & Benefits:Non-Incentive Eligible Salary Range: $99,200 - $149,000 For benefits information please visit https://careers.honeywell.com/us/en/honeywell-benefits.
