SummaryEssential Responsibilities and Duties2. Maintains an effective AOD monitoring system of any deficiencies and complaints related to Medical Staff, responses to patient needs, and Hospital operations during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays.3. Serves as the principal contact person on behalf of Hospital Administration during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays.Serves as Administrator-on-Call.4. Directs the Hospital Operational activities performed during off duty hours, weekends and holidays which includes:A. Assists in handling of cases where patients are not eligible for tertiary care facilities.B. Ensures that all necessary arrangements of VIP patients, visitors and patients relatives meet Hospital Policies and Procedures in coordination with the Protocol Services. C. Maintains an effective inter-intra departmental communication with Hospital departments and professional staff. D. Acts promptly and appropriately on all Hospital correspondence and calls received after working hours, during weekends and holidays. E. Arranges with concernedSupply Chain Managementstaff for pick-up of urgent or perishable shipments arriving on off-duty hours, during weekends and holidays. F. Ensures smooth operation of all Hospital operations including facilities and maintenance related issues. G. AssistsHospital staff with emergent problems abroad and/or emergent exit/re-entryvisa.5. Submits to the ChiefOperating Officer (COO), Executive Director, Medical and Clinical Affairs (ED,MCA), a daily report relating to Hospital operation during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays. 6. Establishes and maintains a staff rotation schedule to cover AOD during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays.7. Monitors enforcement of administrative admissions criteria for Hospital inpatients through Department of Emergency Medicine and other sources.8.Acts on emergency matters during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays concerning Hospital employee/dependents with or without coordination with the concerned signatory authority, as appropriate.9. Assists the assigned Administrator of the Department of Emergency Medicine during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays.10. Coordinates with Security Supervisor regarding emergency issues and patients safety.11. Assists the Medical Administrator-on-Call regarding all medical issues including medical conflicts, referrals and patient care issues.12. Coordinates withNursing Supervisor for inpatient complaints.13. Assists Case Management personnel and Admission Office with discharges, transfer and admission of patient.14. Assists official Hospitals guests and international visiting professors and speakers in any international or national conferences and symposiums.15. Receives VIPs when Protocol Staff is not available.16. Receives all incoming calls directed to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), COO, ED,MCA and other Hospital Administration staff during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays.17. Collects and analyses pertinent information, makes recommendations to improve the Hospital operation, and submits summary report/s as needed/requested.18. Participates in self and Hospitals quality improvement plan preferred.EducationExperience RequiredOther Requirements(Certificates)- Bilingual Arabic/ English is required. - Computer skills are essential.
