POSITION ÿSUMMARY:ÿPerform interpreting/translating assignments ÿusing in-depth knowledge of English and Arabic with word continuity ÿand grammatical ÿconstruction, which convey exact meaning of the original language, either written or spoken. Research technicalÿdata concerning ÿsubjects being interpret or translate. Make written notes and prepare reports pertinent to the work performed. Establish and maintain files of language reference materials.ÿPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:ÿ?ÿTranslates documents, ÿpresentations, ÿcorrespondence, forms, and other written material from English toArabic and Arabic to English.?ÿInterprets spoken statements from English to Arabic and vice versa.?ÿRewrites material from English to Arabic and vice versa.?ÿMaintains records of materials translated. SKILLS:?ÿAble to use translation ÿproficiency ÿby using different sources such as bilingual dictionaries ÿand encyclopedias.?ÿAble to understand the use of various expressions, ÿidioms and specific vocabulary and become aware of diverse styles of writing and social stratification ÿof both source and target languages.?ÿFamiliar with culture concepts, ÿusage and expressions ÿof foreign language being interpreted, including dialects and accents of the foreign language.?ÿMust have oral communication skills between the source and the target language, including ability to interpret complex questions, ÿanswers and concepts in a timely, coherent and accurate manner
