The primary duty of a WPR is to ensure all work activities in hazardous or restricted areas are conducted safely and in strict adherence to Saudi Aramcos Permit-to-Work (PTW) system.Permit Management:Receive, review, and understand the work permit and its specified conditions and hazards.Ensure all necessary precautions, such as Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), gas testing, scaffolding, and fire watches, are in place before work commences.Keep the hard copy of the valid permit visible at the job site at all times.Notify the issuer of job progress, completion, and ensure the site is returned to a safe state.Properly close the permit upon job completion after a joint site inspection with the issuer.Site Safety & Supervision:Conduct a joint site inspection with the issuer before signing the permit to verify the work area is safe and all controls are implemented.Brief the work crew on the job scope, potential hazards, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety measures.Remain on-site while work is ongoing to monitor activities and ensure strict adherence to permit conditions.Immediately stop work and report to the issuer if conditions change, a new hazard arises, or safety protocols are violated.Coordination & Documentation:Coordinate with operations, safety teams, and other stakeholders for site readiness, compliance, and permit revalidation as required.Manage shift handovers by ensuring the oncoming supervisor signs the existing permit and is fully briefed on the work status.Maintain detailed records of all permits and related documentation for audits and incident analysis.
