Prepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural
damage or unusual conditions
Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment, including but not limited to: single-
phase, three-phase, DC fields, armatures, wound rotors and transformers. Observe proper
insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding
Rewind high voltage stator amp rotor by collecting winding data and coil specification
assembling and testing electric motor and generator stators, armatures, or rotors
maintain and repair other electromechanical and electromagnetic equipment, and their duties may be designated according to the motor part wound as Armature Winder, Rotor Winder, or Stator Winder
