One of our clients, a leading fabrication industry is looking for a structural engineer for their factory in RAK, UAE.Job Description:-Technical skills: -Design of Structures using different international codes and standards ( American, Euro, BS) -Detail Knowledge of fabrication using TEKLA- Perform the fabrication sequence for the different kinds of structure.-Prepare the Shop drawings from the Engineering design drawings.- Lifting analysis and design to support the fabrication work-Selection of construction material-Close Coordinate with the Engineering center -Resolve the technical queries from the sub contractor. -Review the shop drawings and resolve the fabrication problems-Estimate the man hours.-Provide technical advice to the staff design and construction/Fabrication team -Provide sketch to the designer.-Perform the connection design calculation using excel spreadsheet. Software:AutoCAD TEKLA STAAD proSPR (Smart plant review) Education: Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Work Experience: Minimum 5 years as a structural engineer with a Bachelor's Engineering / B.Tech Degree or 3 to 4 years as a structural engineer with a Master?s Engineering / M.Tech Degree
