Duties & ResponsibilitiesAbout the Position:The digital transformation of financial services drives thefinancial technology (FinTech) industry to the heart of financial markets whichand changed the way we do finance. The rapid growth of using business analyticstechniques including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) andbig data in business and finance has highlighted the necessity of research andeducation in this area. We have an open rank position for ambitious researcher who can lead the development and delivery ofimpactful research projects in business analytics and/or financial technology andprovide support for other researchers across the CBE to improve the outcome oftheir research and demonstrate their research impact. The position entailspublishing in international academic journal and business outlets. Also,the candidate is expected to engage with our partners including businesses, financialmarkets, public sector, and governments.Main Duties:.Publishing in highly ranked internationalacademic journals and business outlets.Designing and conducting analytics and datascience projects and communicating findings to key stakeholders across thebusiness.Developing and operating automated dataanalytics and machine learning services will be favorable .Developing and delivering research project incooperation with CBE faculty and other colleges inside Qatar University .Conducting research projects with externalpartners in the industry as well as scholars from internationally recognizeduniversities.Applying and securing grants from differentregional and international funding bodies .Providing guidance and support to helpresearchers identify, maximize, and convey the impact of their research andenterprise projects.Making an impactful, high quality contributionto practices through internal and external publications.Developing, designing, and delivering teachingand student-centered learning in business analytics and/or financial technologyfor undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Supervising MBA and PhD students.Contributing to various activities andadministrative assignments in the center and the college .Serving the community inside and outside QatarUniversity.Provide specialist expertise, consultancy, andtraining to the community at large.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAbout the Position:The digital transformation of financial services drives thefinancial technology (FinTech) industry to the heart of financial markets whichand changed the way we do finance.
