The opportunityWe are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking candidate to join our established and growing team in Qatar. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a team and taking responsibility for day-to-day stakeholder management.
• Preparing and providing reports
• Identifying, assessing, and developing of a communications plan, engaging and Influencing stakeholders. Identifying clients deliverables.
• Mitigating report for Impact/Expected overall emissions savings.
• Managing the development of client sustainability strategies on projects and programmes, including agreeing on project outcomes and ensuring their delivery by the project team.
• Supporting work winning through bid support, preparation of fee proposals, driving innovation, client liaison, upskilling of colleagues and raising Maces profile.
• Being an expert and promoting innovation in a particular area of sustainability, such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, and sustainable buildings.
• Supporting the drive for Mace to be a sustainability leader.
• Translating technical topics into layperson language and articulating the value of sustainability.
• Representing Mace at relevant forums and through presentations to clients and working groups.
• Championing sustainability and be a leader, encouraging behavioral change throughout the business.
• Developing innovation and best practices, including clearly communicating these to the wider business and our clients.
• Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders including design team members, contractors, sub-contractors and regulators.
• Conducting sustainability and carbon neutralization workshop.

About youYou have a degree qualification in an environmental or related discipline. You will have knowledge of environmental legislation, standards and good practice guidance. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You have previous working experience on construction projects and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer. #LI-Onsite
