Job Description

The opportunityWe are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking candidate to join our established and growing team in Qatar. Project: This is a mixed-use project in the heart of Qatar. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing from detailed design phase through delivery to handover.
• Managing the project planning and execution of all civil construction works on the site.
• Facilitating internal and external communication to clearly define a projects scope, milestones, updates, delays, and deliverables and escalate issues appropriately.
• Directing and coordinating activities of the project to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
• Promoting safety and assisting with the implementation of all applicable HSE programmes, policies and procedures.
• Reviewing project proposal or plan to fully understand the scope of the work and contract to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project under general supervision.
• Consulting and advising project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties and responsibilities.
• Reviewing status reports prepared by project personnel and modifying schedules or plans as required.
• Monitoring the planning, development, implementation, construction and testing activities and reports on any issues, delays, changes, or concerns to management. Preparing and/or reviewing project reports for management, client and others.
• Coordinating project activities with government regulatory and other agencies.
• Completing the estimation work as necessary.
• Reviewing bid requirements and making follow-up ensuring all information is acquired during bid day.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

About youYou have a relevant degree qualification. You will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
