Job Description

Do you have an eye for Analog and Power Supply design We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has passion in Analog hardware design. You will be designing and developing automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Test Measuring Instruments (T&MI) for semiconductor testing. We are a close-knit team, and we are looking for collaborative people who are a student at heart and a teacher in a team. Together, we will transform ideas into a reality.As an R&D Analog Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Power supply design
  • Analogue to Digital / Digital to Analogue signal conditioning
  • Feedback loop control system
  • Spice/Matlab simulations
  • Analogue circuitry design/analysis & validation
Moreover, you should have extensive knowledge of the use of test equipment such as oscilloscope, function generators and power supplies to meet your job requirements. With input and feedback from the Sales & Marketing team, you will own the design process from the beginning until the end. Your role also includes sharing your expertise with your fellow applications Engineer colleagues by providing training for development support.Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree or Masters in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in Product development
  • Candidate who has strong interest in Analog hardware design, preferably working knowledge on hardware circuit design that involves op-amp, ADC, DAC and control circuits
  • Proficient in Circuit Analysis, Laplace Transform, Fourier Transform, control theory, circuit simulation, power electronics, and other basic electronics fundamentals
  • Familiar with the hardware development flow from schematic entry, PCB layout to design verification and validation. Experienced with Mentor Graphics PADS tool is a plus
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language is an added advantage
  • Experienced working in a semiconductor test environment is an added advantage
  • Optimistic, strong interpersonal skills, creative, self-motivated and meticulous
  • Candidate should be a Malaysian Citizen
