Job Description

Job PurposeThe Travel Corporate Sales Manager will plan, develop and monitor the government, local, and multinational accounts. Ensure sales objectives are maximized and promote the image and contracts of the company with both Government and local agencies. Monitor competitor activities and market developments across the region recommending changes to ensure competitiveness within corporate travel market.Job Accountabilities- Manage government and local accounts, with a key focus on developing contacts in Oman market to increase corporate sales and enhance business with existing clients.- Client relationship management at senior decision makers level to ensure the provision of specialised and professional services is delivered and revenue targets are achieved.- Negotiate contracts with current and new suppliers, ground handlers and carriers to ensure better deals, with the objective of improved competitive price and increased profit margins.- Leverage and build synergies across all departments and local travel agencies to generate more revenue and reduce cost.- Manage and implement a sales and marketing plan to achieve planned growth and achievement of sales targets, increased awareness and credibility of Oman United Agency Travel (OUAT) in the market as a leading Travel Management Company in Oman.- Identify, develop and explore opportunities to maintain current and potential future business opportunities with the objective of achieving/exceeding the overall business objectives.- Evaluate, monitor, and forecast the performance of implants and prepare sales plans /reports to support in achieving the targets. Recommend or implement action to counter competitor activity.- Keeping abreast of market developments and changes in order to make innovative recommendations to ensure the business remains competitive and profitable.- Motivate, Engage and develop staff to improve efficiency, productivity and achievement of sales targets.- Maintain effective procedures to ensure employee standards are met and maintained.Qualifications & ExperienceQualification- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)Experience- Commercial/Sales. Other 8 + YearsKnowledge/Skills- Experience within Travel industry- Excellent organizational and analytical skills- Proven ability to review and improve business processes- Should hold a valid GCC driving licence
