Job Description

The opportunityProject: We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Senior Design manager to join our established and growing team in Oman. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the project director.
  • Developing the clients strategy and brief, by managing the delivery through the extended professional team of local and international consultants and contractors.
  • Developing the client brief, delivery strategy, and execution of the scheme.
  • Establishing and managing a high-performing team that strives for quality, safety, cost, and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, stimulating and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
  • Reviewing and reporting project status with regard to the project management team and recommending corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered a priority through all stages of the project.
About youWith a relevant degree qualification, you will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams. You must have experience in programme or project management equating quality and value with the individual client and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
