Job Description

  • Coordinates with P.E Teachers in the delivery of lessons.
  • SupportsTeaching & Learning in P.E lessons with a positive attitude.
  • Assists the setting up/packing away of resources.
  • Works with P.E in Extra-Curricular activities after school four days a week.
  • To be directed by the Director of Sport in off-timetable lessons whenever necessary.
  • To be physically fit,promote and understand a healthy active lifestyle.
  • To be punctual at all times to work and lessons.
  • Alerts staff to problems experienced by students.
  • Plays a full part in the life of the NCBIS community and support the ethos, aims and mission statement of the school and encourage others to follow this example.
  • Ables to work as a team and have a positive mindset.
  • To have a professional manner with students, teachers and parents at all times.
  • Willing to assist and travel to International Competitions in one of the following key sports; Football, Swimming, Athletics, Volleyball,/Basketball and Netball.
  • Ables to work weekends occasionally.
  • To have an understanding of all the various sports offered in the NCBIS curriculum.
  • To be up-to-date and knowledgeable about the NCBIS Teaching for Learning Policy and those linked to the PE curriculum.
  • To keep up to date with all health policies related to health and safety as well as child protection.
  • Ables to understand and work with the PE schemes of work provided by the Director of Sport.
  • contributes and shows desire to be involved in the planning of P.E lessons with the P.E staff/Director of Sport.
  • implements and delivers a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area.
  • Monitors and supports the overall progress and development of students and therefore contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
  • Facilitates and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • shares and supports NCBIS?s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
  • offers active support for NCBIS?s policy and procedures taking into account the mission, vision and values.
