LK Hospitality Group, the Team behind Omnia, Yugen Tea Bar are opening a new venue?Yugen!?Unique, magnetic and exciting Asian dining fused with a refined experience in the heart of South Yarra?s Capitol Grand.We aim to build a strong community by providing first-class and attentive service, redefining excellence in hospitality.THE ROLEWe are looking for an experiencedSake Sommelier to join the team! An exciting chance to be part of a new business opening with state-of-the-art interior and facilities.The perfect candidate is a wine lover, looking to share their knowledge with customers as well as our team. Knowing our wine range is paramount and you will learn more with every service, confidently suggesting wines to accompany each meal.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain highest level of personal wine, grower and supplier knowledge, being up to date with latest products, influences, growing regions and vintages.
  • Team mentoring and knowledge sharing
  • Maximising sales
  • Ability to build and nurture healthy relationships with employees, customers and suppliers.
The position will require flexibility and availability for weekend work as well as a combination of day and night shifts.Members of the Omnia team are genuinely hospitable, have a broad restaurant skill set and industry awareness and are self-motivated and goal driven.ABOUTTHE BENEFITS
