LK Hospitality Group, the Team behind Omnia, Yugen Tea Bar are opening a new venue?Yugen!?Unique, magnetic and exciting Asian dining fused with a refined experience in the heart of South Yarra?s Capitol Grand.We aim to build a strong community by providing first-class and attentive service, redefining excellence in hospitality.THE ROLEWe are looking for an experiencedRestaurant Managerto join the team! An exciting chance to be part of a new business opening with state-of-the-art interior and facilities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the venue front of house team by providing tools to ensure they succeed;
  • Rostering the FOH team based on service requirements and staff availability;
  • Regularly training and developing the Front of House staff customer service skills, sequence of service as well as food and beverage knowledge;
  • Working closely with the BOH team to ensure all staff are trained across all menu offerings;
  • Handling all guest and reviews, complaints and feedback - ensuring that the restaurant works towards improvements;
  • Understanding the demands of the restaurant and then establishing chances to enhance the guest experience;
  • Creating daily and weekly guest reports;
  • Ensure the shift is managed and controlled at all times by actively pre-empt guests needs, staff allocations and by promoting and efficient communication amongst the team;
  • Maximise sales through briefing, sales goals and strategy, constant motivation of the team;
  • Ensure that standards and procedures are consistently maintained in all areas of the restaurant operations;
  • Actively promote the highest level of venue cleanliness and personal presentations in all areas of the restaurant, including back of house and service areas.
