Safety OfficerJob Location: Manama, BahrainQualifications:•NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.•Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and standards.•Proficiency in Arabic and/or English, including the ability to follow instructions in both languages.•Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.Trade Test and Selection Rules:•For NEBOSH IGC3 certified before 2019: Candidates will proceed directly to an interview with the designated BAPCO representative.•For NEBOSH IGC certified after 2019: Candidates will be required to complete a written exam before the interview stage.•Following the trade test by a BAPCO official, a candidate with at least 3 years of oil and gas experience and completion of both JSA and RAMS training will be designated as a Safety Officer. Those lacking these credentials will be initially appointed as Trainee Safety Officers.•Candidates with no prior oil and gas experience will begin as Trainee Safety Officers, working under the supervision of a Safety Officer for one year. Promotion to Safety Officer after this period will be based on performance.
