DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESRisk Management & Controls: Develop the annual internal audit plan, test internal financial controls, and track corrective actionsHSE & Compliance Oversight: Assess adherence to marine environmental regulations, ISO standards, and shipyard safety protocolsSubcontractor & Procurement Review: Audit vendor selection, third-party contractor performance, and purchasing workflows for specialized marine equipmentProject & Operations Auditing: Review ship repair project estimating, contract variations, milestone billings, and material usage/scrap management.Audit Execution: Lead end-to-end audit engagements, from annual planning and fieldwork to detailed reporting for senior management and the Board Audit Committee.Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify operational, financial, and safety vulnerabilities across fleet management, offshore construction, or logistics.Skills: Strong knowledge of risk-based auditing, data analytics tools, and technical report writing
