20153BRRequisition Number:20153BRDescription:Stantec Bahrain is looking to hire a Project manager.The role involves working on projects associated with infrastructure design including wastewater networks, water distribution networks, storm water & drainage, flood alleviation. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration, commercial management for design and construction supervision projects. Also, the role includes preparation of technical and financial proposals, Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:1.tOversee investigations, concept and detailed designs for civil/ water/ wastewater infrastructure?tReview data collection and analysis for conceptual planning and design, prepare design drawings and specifications, and solve design problems as required.?tReview field investigations to collect design information.2.tManage preparation of technical specifications, tendering?tEngineering analysis, technical writing, design calculations, specifications, and drawings on projects?tManage project activities through the application of technical engineering planning, principles and techniques?tReview project deliverables including writing technical reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports?tDetermine budgets, timelines and cost estimates for project design and construction3.tManage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects?tHeld responsibility for management of the commercial aspects of projects (preparation of monthly cost to complete reports, and update of the reports as needed)?tManagement of contracts for design and construction supervision projects including contracts formation and administration?tCoordinate with finance to prepare the projects invoices, and track progress of payment with clients4.tPrepare technical and financial proposals?tAnalyze scope of works for bids, and prepare for Go-No-Go Presentations?tReview the technical elements prepared by the technical team?tCoordinate with the marketing team to develop concise proposals?tPrepare the level of efforts in coordination with the design leads, and estimate the proposals fees.5.tCollaboration and working as part of a team?tWork in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, performing basic design calculations as required.?tConduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations?tLiaison with teams working remotely from other parts of the world to facilitate completion of tasks, and project.?tGood communicator.6.tClient Service Management?tInternal and external client liaison?tAbility to build and maintain lasting and positive relationships?tExperience in utility diversions and management7.tFollow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.?tComplete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.?tDesign for safety, i.e. Construction Design Management.8.tOther duties as requested from time to time by the Country Manager.Title:Project ManagerQualifications:? 15-20 Total years of Experience? Master?s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering? Chartered engineer from ICE or Professional Engineer.PMP Preferred.? Experience in design of large-scale water/wastewater/TSE/stormwater systems? Experience in construction supervision for water infrastructure projects? Experience in preparing technical and financial proposals? Commercial and contractual experience with public and private clients? Ability to deliver projects on time with high quality deliverables.?
