PROFILE - We like people who come from a diverse cultural backgrounds, with different ways of thinking who can challenge our current practices. That said, because of the nature of this role it is important to have existing knowledge and experience as a Product Manager, ideally with a background in Financial services/Digital Transformation.- A solid background of project and programme management and delivery is important, previous experience within financial services is not critical. A technical background is desirable but having the ability to quickly understand who your key SMEs are and being able to draw upon their technical knowledge and understanding is most important.- As a minimum to be seriously considered we would need to see evidence in your CV of the following:o A prior background of initiating and leading Technical/IT implementation projects (but we are comfortable if you are not and out and out techie!)o Good planning, resource & cost management, governance & control, Risk, Assumption, Issues & Dependencies, Management skillso Experience identifying and removing blockers, and good stakeholder management and general people skills, including being comfortable engaging people at CxO level.o Experience of working with external vendors/ 3rd party providers and remote teams (particularly tech based)o Comfortable working with the likes of software engineers, product owners, business analysts, quality automation testing staff and customers.RESPONSIBILITIES- Mobilising new projects- Planning, resource and cost management, governance & control activities- Establishing and managing risks and inter-dependencies- Coordinating with software engineers, product owners, analysts, customers, technical specialists amongst others to ensure successful delivery- Is able to solve problems, and consider alternate approaches- Stakeholder management- Can work with external vendors to achieve the desired outcomeWhat would you get in return?- We will give you stretch as well as an energising and informal environment.- You will realise genuine career progression opportunities gained within a nurturing culture that celebrates both diversity and equal opportunity.- Together we make it possible
