Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction. Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches. Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products. Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.Essential Functions:* Directs all day to day operations of L3Harris?s Bahraini based unmanned vessels.* Advise CTF 59 on current autonomous unmanned operational tasking and lead discussions on the development of capabilities to support operations in other maritime warfare environments.* Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.* Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.* Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.* Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.* Expands the product line with the customer.* Serves as a regional point of contact to support business development efforts* Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications.* Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.* Support development and expansion of area business opportunities, traveling when needed.* Ability to travel up to 40%.* Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:* Requires comprehensive knowledge of Middle East security concerns.* Requires expert knowledge of surface vessel operations.* May have in-depth knowledge of project management.* Bachelor?s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.* Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
