• Identify and advise on the resource requirements for piping design team.• Apply good interpersonal skills, liaising across the organisation with members of other disciplines and departments.• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.• Safety – Responsible for personal safety and working within the OHS&W procedures.• Monitor and oversee EPC Contractor’s piping layout activities to confirm:• Ensure piping layout equipment philosophies, procedures and specifications cater for the required operating and design envelope.• EPC Contractor design documentation status, to ensure works are to schedule and to desired quality.• Ensure open channels of communication with EPC contractor, and all relevant PMC subject matter experts.• Have detailed understanding and appreciation of the work scope.• Review design with knowledge of the engineering design sequence, and discipline interaction.• Able to develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions through project systems.• Monitor EPC Contractor piping progress and keep Engineering Manager informed as to status.• Assist team in timely completion of piping engineering scope and activities.• Ensuring quality assurance of deliverables through an established audit trail• Provide definition of the piping design scope of work to the Engineering Manager for handover at start of project phase.• Provide technical assistance to EPC Contractor when required.• Review all EPC Contractor design documents for compliance with Employer requirements and expectations, project codes, standards, procedures and regulatory
