Job Description

Description Zain Bahrain is actively recruiting applicants for its Fintech Subsidiary in the Kingdom of Bahrain.What Do You Need to Qualify Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the company adheres with all laws and regulations of Kingdom of Bahrain
  • Work collaboratively with the executive team on the adoption of compliance regulations
  • Assist management in major decision making to ensure decisions are compliant with all Kingdom of Bahrain / CBB regulations
  • Review, analyze and maintain a working knowledge of existing and pending legislation, statutes and regulations
  • Implement the companys code of conduct
  • Understand the impact of current and proposed applicable Kingdom of Bahrain regulations on the organization
  • Work collaboratively with the executive team on the adoption of risk controls & mitigation plans
  • Identify, report and work on mitigating any arising risk
  • Develop & implement the required policies & processes to comply with relevant CBB laws, rules & regulations
  • Review and monitor the companys risk register including mitigation strategies
  • Maintain a positive relationship with CBB and other regulatory / governing bodies of Kingdom of Bahrain
  • Enhance risk and compliance awareness across the organization

Ideal background
  • 8+ years of experience in Risk/Compliance in the banking/fintech sector with at least 3-4 years of experience at a managerial role
  • Up to date with all CBB laws, rules & regulations
  • Understanding of issues and risks associated with financial services and ability to define mitigation plan
  • Self-starter with the ability to define clear objectives relating to compliance and regulatory challenges
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex issues and influence their audience
  • Excellent analytical abilities with good business judgment
  • Excellent team management skills
