Assist in achieving the annually established segment revenue targets and work with the team members to achieve their targets.? Handle daily and strategic matters relating to conference and events in all Food and Beverage outlets.? Recommend to the Director of Food and Beverage necessary sales plans or procedure revisions to increase production in the Conference and Events segment.? Assist the Director of Food and Beverage with the development of the Annual Business Plan and Department Performance Plan.? Assist in setting measurable quality objectives and actively participate in the review of these objectives.? Attend regular internal meetings to discuss segment related information.? Maintain a dynamic communication structure within the department and all related departments.? Ensure strong communication with the Conference and Events Cluster team.? Provide training to the team members for any other related computer systems.? Ensures all areas of the conference/ groups segment ? contracting, allocations, materialization of events and set up for smooth execution is provided.? Proactive in identifying new sources of business while ensuring business from existing clients are maximized.? Maintains a complete understanding and complies with the hotels policies and procedures, particular in relation to security, health and safety and hygiene.? Handles tasks assigned by Director of Food and Beverage.? Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.Administrational? Assist in the preparation of the monthly and periodical sales reports.Operational? Communicate new or amended processes and information to relevant departments/colleagues in a timely manner, ensuring they have been understood.? Hold ?pre-con? meeting with internal and external stakeholders.? Assist in recruitment and training process of sales colleagues.? Liaise with operating department heads on issues of quality standards, in order to continuously meet and exceed guest expectations.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONSAbout youThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications? A Bachelor degree or equivalent higher education? 5 star luxury hotel experience? Experience with diverse cultural background of team members? Flexibility with a broad cultural guest profile?
