POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Dynamics NAV Developer/Consultant is responsible for working with Consultants, Project Managers, Sales Executives and customers on Dynamics NAV Custom Development, configuration, administration, and support for Invent Solutions customers. The candidate must have the ability to scope out work, manage and in some cases delegate and oversee other developers work, quality control and test features.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:In addition to the necessary skills and experience to perform the responsibilities outlined above, there are a number of traits that a successful candidate will possess.Requirements & ResponsibilitiesTechnical design, develop and testing of core Dynamics NAV granules and add-on sWork with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom developmentConvert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documentsMake technical recommendations for installation, modifications and custom developmentEnsure development best practices are adheredCommunicate effectively in all mediums and to all levels within the organizationExcellent communication, planning and organization skillsAbility to establish priorities and work independentlyDevelop software based on the design specifications made by the functional and technical consultantsDevelop software based on Microsoft NAV and Dynamics 365 Business CentralConfiguring, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areasDeveloping Dynamics NAV web servicesDevelop external applications using C/SIDE language that interface with Microsoft NAVDevelopment on top of Dynamics NAV modulesCollect Technical and Functional NAV/D365 requirements from CustomersMonitor implementation, quality, and budget; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve apparent system bugsWrite Minutes of meetings, Functional Requirement documents, Data Migration requirement documents, Solution Design Documents, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 customized User ManualsInstallation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365, SQL Server and all related setups.Microsoft Dynamics NAV/D365 configuration of all modulesDevelop data migration tools for migrating customer's data into NAVMicrosoft Dynamics NAV/365 Support customers (Local & Foreign) & Fixing BugsMicrosoft Dynamics NAV/365 Upgrade and updatesGo-live and post-live supportAd-hoc tasks as and when required by your team leadDesired QualificationsComputer Science, computer engineering or MIS Degree
