An offshore company with a large server environment online is looking for a Linux sysadmin. This will be someone who is passionate about technology and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. The work is done strictly in a headless environment and requires wide exposure to R&D.Requirements* 2-5 years of strong Linux Systems Administration experience* Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills* Must possess a strong desire to learn* Advanced networking skills (DNS, VPN, IPtables)* Experience with Database Administration (MySQL/MariaDB)* Experience on cloud based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, etc )* Experience with Monitoring, Backup and Scripting with Bash, Python* Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Delivery, Automated Deployment, and System monitoring* Experience on system automation tools (Puppet/Ansible)* Understanding and passion for developing highly secure and highly available systems* Highly motivated and a self-starter with ability to take ownership of assigned tasks* Ability to work as a member of a team or autonomously
