Job SummaryPerform minor installation, maintenance and repair work for a variety ofequipment. Set-up and operates a variety of electrically and hydraulicallyequipment for different events.Support the mission and vision of theAmerican University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and that of the PlantEngineering Department.Essential Functions / Task GroupsFunctional/Technical:Diagnose faults, disassemble, change parts, reassemble, and test forproper functioning.Does maintenance work as instructed.Examine errors and cross check with manufacturer's manuals for thetroubleshooting and necessary corrective action.Install and fix various items such as dexion shelves, needle recapturors,among others.Prepare and clean work site as part of the flow stream of works.Assist supervisor while responding to emergency calls.Administrative Duties:Organize the work area to provide a neat and clean environment.Participate in and document safety duties.Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives and qualityassurance program.Observe fire and safety regulations.Critical CompetenciesAchievement Orientation, Client Focus, Communication Skills, ComputerSkills, English Comprehension, Initiative, Maintenance, Installation, andRepair, Organizational Awareness, Planning and Organizing, Problem Solving,Quality Management, Resource Management, Safety and Health Management, TeamSkills, Technical Expertise.Knowledge / Know-HowKnowledge: Knowledge of the techniques, methods, andtools.
