Responsibilities:?Shall manage and coordinate with the shift mechanical team to complete the planned maintenance related activities.?Co-ordinate with Maintenance mechanical engineer and shift technicians for smooth O&M of a facility.?Shall work in day shift as well as 'on call' basis whenever required for continuous operation with respect to the mechanical maintenance.?Coordinate with the shift maintenance team for day to day activities and plan to fix the operational defects on priority basis.?Shall perform the maintenance works, in a prudent, reasonable, and efficient manner.?Shall be fully experienced in preventative, scheduled and breakdown maintenance.?Shall be fully experienced with various types of alignment in rotating equipment.?Shall be aware of piping and flange management system.?Obtain list of defects from operations for critical equipment before execution of planned maintenance activity.?Shall be aware and knowledgeable in all kinds of permit to work systems.?Responsible for maintaining calibration records and necessary special tools and gauges.?With the guidance of vendor representative, actions to be taken for major repair and spares replacements.?Responsible for updating and maintaining all equipment maintenance records of a facility.?Ensure that all mechanical maintenance services are done safely and efficiently in accordance with internationally recognized engineering standards.?Responsible for following up and timely completion of various maintenance schedules (PM schedule, lubrication schedule, condition monitoring schedule, etc.,)?Shall be aware of basic operation parameters of a facility (process and utilities).?Shall coordinate with other disciplines and supervisors for timely completion of planned works
