Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Merchandising Supervisor to join our team in Khamis Mushait,, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in merchandising, with a strong background in retail management. As a Sr. Merchandising Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising operations, ensuring that products are displayed strategically and attractively to maximize sales. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies, analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations for product assortment and pricing. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of customer behavior and market trends.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to develop effective merchandising plans.
  3. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations for product assortment, pricing, and placement.
  4. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to stay ahead of the competition.
  5. Oversee the visual merchandising of products, ensuring that they are displayed strategically and attractively to maximize sales.
  6. Train and supervise the merchandising team, providing guidance and support to ensure that merchandising standards are met.
  7. Manage product inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and products are replenished in a timely manner.
  8. Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the performance of merchandising initiatives, making adjustments as needed to achieve business objectives.
  10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in merchandising, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in a retail environment.
  3. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective merchandising strategies.
  4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  6. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise a team.
  7. Deep understanding of customer behavior and market trends.
  8. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software.
  10. Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
