Job Description

Job Purpose:As the Regional Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategies within our designated region. You will work closely with the executive team to ensure financial stability, compliance with regulations, and the achievement of financial objectives. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of financial management practices.Responsibilities:

  • RFC would be responsible to handle regional finance independently with responsibilities but not limited to:
  • Oversee financial operations of a region, including accounting, auditing, and financial department management
  • Develop and communicate operational reports and management information system (MIS) reports to assess regional performance
  • Prepare monthly management reports, including profit and loss statements, accounts receivable aging analysis, and inventory reports
  • Manage all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
  • Evaluate and approve commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Prepare financial statements, summaries, and cost-benefit analyses, and evaluate financial reporting systems
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff, establish profitability standards, and handle contract evaluations
  • Develop advanced financial models and conduct quantitative analysis to inform decision-making
  • Notify senior management of critical financial trends and lead investigations into significant variances
  • Establish and document internal controls, policies, and procedures to improve processes
  • Create reports and presentations for top management and provide strategic recommendations
  • Lead budget preparation, execution, and analysis, challenging budget holders to optimize resource utilization
  • Monitor and review internal accounting policies and standard operating procedures for process improvement and internal control
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA/MBA/MCOM or equivalent degree field Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience including 3+ years managerial experience.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced MS skills
  • Advanced in English and computer skills
  • Strong analytical skills is required
  • Strong understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and their application in financial reporting and analysis.
