Job Description

Essential Duties and Key accountabilities:Perform essential duties as listed below with the highest standards:

  • Helps Head of IA&GRC in shaping the strategic priorities & roadmap with action items for implementing Digital Assurance (Continuous Auditing) in the organization serving the business objectives & strategic needs of the company.
  • Align with Governance, Risk, Compliance & Internal Audit functions on controls requirements, and coordinate Digital Assurance (Continuous Auditing) activities across the organization, specifically with IT department, to achieve a holistic view of organization-wide opportunities to implement Digital Assurance.
  • Develop Digital Assurance methodology & framework with clear objectives, policies & procedures, and deliver within the agreed budgets and time limits/targets defined.
  • Design digital assurance expectation models for analytical procedures at the business-process level to improve financial, business process, operations and reduce errors & fraud.
  • Define set of procedures & audit parameters for digitally monitoring the functionality of internal controls in ?real -time? at transactional level.
  • Determine the rules/analytics required for continuous digital assurance activity, with programming needs, frequency, and configuration requirements.
  • Implement continuous Digital data assurance by verifying the integrity of data flowing through the information systems.
  • Extract data from IT systems and analyze at the transactional level to provide more detailed assurance.
  • Develop key objectives for digital assurance audit procedures, considering the - detective, corrective, deterrent /preventive, financial, and compliance parameters.
  • Implement software mechanisms to continuously and automatically monitor digital transactions, identifying anomalous/exception situations.
  • Implement digital assurance mechanism for access control auditing, approvals, authorizations, system configurations, policy & procedure compliance, security analysis and business process settings.
  • Perform big data analytics on business data and link to business rules, policies, procedures and internal control parameters to identify exceptions & new vulnerabilities.
  • Deploy continuous risk assurance and risk assessment mechanism to dynamically measure risk and provide input for corrective actions.
  • Establish real-time integrated risk assessment approach by aggregating data across different functions in the organizations.
  • Deploy mechanism to communicate the digitally assured observations with stakeholders ensuring independence and consistency for real-time corrective action.
  • Implement alarms, systems alerts and route these to appropriate stakeholders and auditors when significant discrepancies occur.
  • Automate internal audit processes, facilitate audit digitalization through automating controls testing mechanisms with alerts on real time basis, saving audit resources, time & costs.
  • Build and maintain strong & productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Develop Digital Assurance performance measurement metrics (KPIs), its monitoring and reporting, with an emphasis on continuous improvements.
  • Provide training, tools, and updates on Digital Assurance activities.
  • Ensure Digital Assurance activities are continuously enhanced with new tools & technology such as artificial intelligence, Big Data, robotic process automation etc.
