Job Description

Participates in the planning and scheduling of inspection activities for stationary equipment and their associated facilities. Perform routine surveillance, inspection , monitoring, auditing & assurance of Contractors site activities(Fabrication and Welding, NDT, Coating and Painting) in accordance with the Projects and Contractors, specifications, ITP and Quality Plans. Interpreting and evaluating of NDT Results, witnessing Hydro test, Pneumatic test and Post test Re-instatement. Review Contractors method statements, QC procedures, ITP and Quality Plan and assist with establishing acceptable working practices for construction activities. Analyze and troubleshoot the failures of plant equipment and trips occurred and initiate action plans and necessary measures for determining and eliminating the root cause. Coordinate as required with outside facilities such as Sabic CoE for failure analysis and prevention. Regularly checks and reviews the condition monitoring activities of the stationary equipment. Performs and carries out interpretations of such results or findings. Study and analyze corrosion/damage mechanism issues to diagnose problems and make appropriate recommendations. Participates in the execution of plant equipment repair works or overhauls during unit shut downs to ensure the technical quality of the job as per the established standards and given manufacturer instructions. Performs regularly process condition monitoring of the stationary equipment for efficiency assessment. Review fixed equipment upgrades and re-rate. Support planning section during turnarounds to prepare and review the stationary equipment for new/non-routine/specialized SOW. Strong technical knowledge about different types of valves, PRVs and certified for testing. Identification of risks to the quality of work and the completion program, and associated solutions Assists in formulating and developing training program for maintenance personnel and ensure on the job training as deemed necessary. Check and ensure the plant reliability monitoring equipment are maintained and calibrated as per OMS / applicable standards requirements. Engages the services of outside agencies/vendors pertaining to additional reliability requirements not available in house. Prepares and submits reports about the condition of plant fixed equipment as directed and required. Verify design/specification and analyze deviation from standards and faulty operating procedures. Follow up relevant pending open actions of HAZOP / PHA study / Incident reports for existing operating plants and provide support and assistance to complete the outstanding issues. As RCA Team Lead oLead the RCA team to conduct incident investigation and conclude RCA As RCA Team Member oParticipate as RCA member as & when assigned. As RBI Team Member: oConduct RBI reviews along with other team members as raised from MERIDIUM system as per Time base revision or Event base revision by regular monitoring / Pareto / Growth analyses. Preparation of the site readiness documents containing Design, historical, related industry Operational and Engineering data. oArranging / attending reliability workshops to propagate technical data into system based analysis tools (MERIDIUM).Coordinating, justifying, validating and finally producing most feasible and accurate recommendations till approval by the Plant Owners. Implementation of Reliability recommendations by each Related technical members. oEvaluation of recommendations and technical feasibilities by related technical members at regular intervals after implementation of recommendations. oReview of recommendations in reliability workshops by team members on the basis of plant events or other technical issues. Review of reliability studies by team members in the event of assets design changes, obsolescence of spares or equipments, assets maintainability issues, and assets low performance issues. oAnalysis of plant systems for the repetitive failures and reaching the most appropriate solutions using MERIDIUM on the special request of plant owners. oMonitoring recommendations effectiveness in the plants by related team members using appropriate reliability tools. Participate as RCA member as & when assigned. Ensure Mechanical Integrity of the plant equipment as per the OMS requirements.
