Sustainability EngineerSector: Oil & GasMain Duties and Responsibilities:* Closely supports and advises the companys HoS&S, Sustainability Manager, Executives, and Senior Managers in all aspects of sustainability, green funding, TCFD, SASB, GRI, etc., and carbon trading according to the latest legal stipulations, best practices, and market trends * Matures develops and coordinates green projects and offsetting projects in collaboration with the appropriate operating and development teams. * Supports the development of a system to implement a circular economy across the companys value chain, including global and local contractors and authorities * Supports the development of further implementation and continually improves the companys sustainability and climate change goals, including the conduction of risk assessments * Supports the development of further implementation and continually improves the companys internal reporting systems * Contributes to the compilation of the companys Annual and Sustainability Report, including updates of the company webpage in that respect * Conducts and supports relevant research and studies to meet the company?s internal and external requirements * Advises on the latest zero-emissions and emissions-reduction technologies * Conducts and supports relevant research and studies to reduce the companys carbon footprint together with the technical teams * Overviews and continuously improves the companys ESG and CSR activities * Develops further, continuously improves, and administers the ESG and TCFD database * Liaises and coordinates external consultants where necessaryRequirements:* E. / B.TECH. / B.S. / Master / Dipl.-Ing. or adequately in a similar engineering subject * Master in Business Studies for example MBA, Preference in legal studies * Minimum 15 years in Energy, including Oil & Gas / Petrochemical/mining industry with experience in sustainability, ESG, carbon trading, green funding, and legal aspects * Hands-on experience in implementing sustainability in Energy including oil and gas production facilities / Petrochemical/mining * Conversant with international ESG standards, TCFD, SASB, equator principles, etc. * Sustainability / ESG / CSR * Carbon Trading * Green funding * Carbon offsets * TCFD, SASB, GRI, and similar * Zero-emissions and emissions-reduction technologies * Corporate Environmental Management * Document writing, in particular, Annual and Sustainability Reports * Leading people * Working with multi-cultural teams * International environment * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills * Excellent Project and Time Management skills, including the ability to manage multiple, overlapping projects and deadlines * Must have solid interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively and constructively in a dynamic and changing work environment, both individually and as part of the HSE team and Senior Management * Strong leadership qualities including empathy, caring, and listening * Willing to visit production facilities, well and project sites as well as remote sites * Strong English verbal and written communication skills * Excellent organization skills * Excellent presentation and representation skill * Analytical thinking skills * Good attention to detailWorking Conditions:Rotational, 5/2 Location:Erbil
