Job Description

ROTATION: 5/2RATE: $1000/DAYJob Purpose:Participate in and advise on all aspects of drilling and related inventory management.Responsibilities and Key Objectives:

  • Ensure complete and accurate inventory management and control
  • Implement and assist in development of ˙material requirements plans on computerised ERP inventory control system (EAM)
  • Advise on cataloguing process and methodology
  • Assist and advise on physical count and inventory audit
  • Oversee and assure complete inventory records consistent with financial accounting requirements
  • Advise and implement upgrade of inventory control system
  • Advise and mentor Supply Base Supervisors and Materials Coordinators
  • Act as trouble-shooter for stock code and inventory matters
  • Advise and recommend SCM on system development
  • Participate in hands-on inventory / stock reviews and audits
Education:Tertiary or equivalent professional experienceJob Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of oilfield maintenance and drilling materials
  • Competency in automated inventory management systems in the oil or petrochemical industry
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Competence in HSE in warehousing / stockyard environment
  • Demonstrable general knowledge of the drilling technologies and construction engineering utilised by oil and gas operators
