Job Summary:Country Representative-Iraq will be responsible for the development of company presence in Iraq.Duties & Responsibilities:

Helping the tendering team of Kabul office by collecting data till the submission of proposals and award of the project;
Meeting potential clients, government offices, banks, local and international associates;
Setting online meetings with partners, agents and vendors, clients and local contractors for projects/scopes and opportunities in Iraq;
Facilitate the management of ZNCC with information for registration of ZNCC in Iraq/obtaining a license and opening a bank account;
Assisting in estimation through providing prices of local materials, machinery hiring charges, and manpower costs for construction projects;
Translation of basic documents from Arabic to English and vice versa when and if needed;?
Attending bid related meetings with various Clients and visiting the project sites during the tender phase of the projects;
Gathering information?s about upcoming power/infra projects and checking the feasibility of ZNCC?s participation;
Searching and negotiating with local suppliers and construction contractors for works;
Being flexible to execute tasks as and when required;
Traveling within cities and collecting business information?s; (Charges will be reimbursed upon prior approval);
Preparing reports in writing on a daily basis for performed works is mandatory and submitting detailed reports after attending meets is also compulsory.

Job Requirement:

BS/BE/B. Tech (Engineering or Technology in Civil/Electrical or relevant) /MBA;
Min. 1-year experience in the construction field is preferred;
Knowledge in civil estimations and experience in liaison work is preferred;
Knowledge of the business environment in Iraq and understanding of business regulations is desired;
Previous working experience with any of these entities: Ministry of Electricity, USAID, USACE, NATO, UNOPS is preferred;
The candidate must work using their own computer/laptop and internet connection;
The person should be an Iraqi national living in Baghdad or Erbil;
The maximum age limit is 35 and the minimum is 22.
