Job Description

About the jobWe are seeking a talented React JS Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase.Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Work collaboratively with design teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
  • Maintain code integrity and organization
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux, Flux, or Webpack)
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
  • 4+ years of professional experience in React.js development
