This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to facilitate team dynamics and remove impediments.Responsibilities:

• Facilitation of Agile Practices:
• Act as a servant leader for the Agile team, facilitating Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach team members on Agile principles and practices to promote continuous improvement and high-performing teams
• Team Empowerment:
• Empower the team to self-organize and make decisions, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to ensure focus on sprint goals and delivery commitments
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders and management, escalating issues as needed
• Continuous Improvement:
• Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and implementation of action items to enhance team productivity and efficiency
• Metrics and Monitoring:
• Monitor team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to track progress and identify areas for improvement
• Use Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) to maintain transparency and visibility of project status and tasks
• Training and Mentorship:
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Agile practices, roles, and responsibilities
• Support the adoption of Agile frameworks and best practices across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• 2-4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development or IT projects
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and their application in different contexts
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist) is preferred
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals in a dynamic environment
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience using Agile tools and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to manage workflows and track progress
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in Agile practices and methodologies
