Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct.
Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department and the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
Actively participates in the education requirement for the department and the hospital as per the Hospital Education Program.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the scope of practice and employment contract.
Carries out temperature and humidity tests in rooms, corridors and other parts of the building as and when required.
Re-sets controls to correct the above, if readings are found to be incorrect.
Checks and corrects air balancing, i.e. supply air returnÿandÿexhaust air in all areas of building as and when required.
Checks and re-calibratesallStaefa Control systems,comprisingof temperature controllers, humidity controllers, temperature humidity indicators stage and limits controllers.
Checks and re-calibrates all HVAC actuatorssuch asthree-way valves, volumes dampers, etc.
Carries out preventive maintenance of field sensors, i.e. temperature sensors (Room or duct type), humidity sensor (room duct type), differential pressure set point and position potentiometer.
Carries out any other repairs including P.P.M.?s to fan coil units (FCU), window units, fans and chillers.ÿ
