Job Description

The TUV Rigger III position is a critical role within the Technical Maintenance & Repair industry, specifically designed for professionals who possess a strong background in rigging and lifting operations. As a TUV Rigger III, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of rigging equipment, while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Your contributions will play a vital role in supporting various projects and ensuring operational excellence.Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and dismantle rigging equipment for various lifting operations.
  2. Inspect rigging equipment for safety compliance and operational readiness.
  3. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine rigging requirements.
  4. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations during all rigging activities.
  5. Provide training and guidance to junior riggers and apprentices.
  6. Maintain accurate records of rigging operations and equipment inspections.
  7. Assist in the development of rigging plans and methodologies.
  8. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with rigging tasks.
  9. Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
  10. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations.
  2. Strong understanding of rigging techniques and equipment.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  6. Certification in rigging and lifting operations is preferred.
  7. Proficient in the use of rigging tools and equipment.
  8. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
  9. Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards.
  10. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
