Automobile Spare Parts Trading Company needs to hire immediately Senior Accountant / Manager for its office based in Dubai UAE . He needs to manage accounting tasks, prepares and analyzes financial statements, manages the general ledger, and assists with audits and tax preparation. They also play a role in financial planning, budgeting, and developing accounting policies.Core Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and Analysis:Preparing and analyzing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, etc.), ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.General Ledger Management:Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.Accounts Payable and Receivable:Overseeing and managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring proper cash flow management.Financial Planning and Budgeting:Assisting in the development and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts.Tax Compliance:Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns.Audit Support:Assisting with both internal and external audits, coordinating with auditors and providing necessary documentation.Process Improvement:Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.Month-End and Year-End Close:Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Supervision:May supervise junior accountants and accounting assistants, providing guidance and training.Communication:Effectively communicating financial information to management and other stakeholders.Compliance:Ensuring compliance with accounting standards like GAAP.Required Skills:Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate financial information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Supervisory Skills: Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.In essence, a Senior Accountant is a crucial member of the accounting team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.Job Types: Full-time, ContractContract length: 24 monthsPay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
