Property AccountantJob Location : UAEDuties and Responsibilities:?Prepare and maintain all records, correspondence, and files?Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary?Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time?Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings?Assist the real estate team or other staff accountants with other accounting duties as needed?Accounts payable ? entering invoices into accounting system, verify funds for payment remittance?Knowledge about VAT Returns?Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses?Must have knowledge about the Government rules, regulation and leasing towards the property Management.?Any other duties that may arise, or as directed by your immediate managers.Requirements:?Must have minimum 2 years experience in UAE?Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred?Experience in real estate industry preferred?Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software?Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must
