Role Summary:A delivery platform with a high frequency essential use-case, millions of transactions and a large and growing regional ecosystem of customers, merchants and riders offers tremendous opportunities to embed financial services and commensurate challenges to conquer. Looking for a thoughtful, committed individual to support this effort in a role that can offer a wide scope across strategy and operations within our fintech team. The strategy & operations manager will work closely with the head of fintech at talabat in driving and executing the companys fintech strategy.Whats On Your Plate. Building and optimizing talabats fintech strategy in the MENA region. Act as the key resource to manage strategy-to-execution at talabat. Support in P&L management for the fintech vertical. Leading and executing new projects, ranging from evaluating options from execution & commercial viability standpoint tosupporting rollouts in collaboration with cross functional teams. Evaluating internal and/or external opportunities in line with our strategy, and project managing execution. Working closely with key stakeholders within talabat and Delivery Hero. Managing strategic external partnerships for fintechWhat Did We Order. 5+ years experience in Strategy, Partnerships, Consulting or Operations roles at a tech, e-commerce or fintech company. Understanding of fintech stream preferred, or ability to quickly adapt to complex concepts. Solution oriented with a high sense of ownership and urgency. Collaborative and open, with experience working with cross functional stakeholders such as product, legal, marketing,fraud and other business verticals. Excellent presentation and project management skills. Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Quick learner and ability to opportunities both from execution and business impact perspective. Ability to convert large complex challenges into an executable step by step approach. Baseline knowledge of the fintech industry.
