Certifications in intellectual property rights, contracting, corporate governance and related legal areas is desirable? 10 years of related experience in corporate legal teams? Proven background in corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws)? Excellent negotiation and communications skills? Current license to practice lawJob Responsibilities:? Handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents)? Liaise with judicial machinery and governmental agencies to safeguard company interest on legal matters in countries of operations? Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the company.? Communicating with and managing any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors.? Responsible for end-to-end execution of contracts (from drafting to review of contracts) for engaging the services of third party agency (labour contract, security contract, leasing contract, etc.)? Act as Custodian of documentation pertaining to commercial agreements, business contracts, memorandum of understanding, etc.? Understand amendments in company law and assess its implications on company as a group or its subsidiaries? Manage corporate events such as incorporation of companies and handle liquidation issues as and when needed? Represent organization in courts on matters of high importance or critical cases in UAE and GCC countries? Design and oversee the company?s policy and position on legal matters.? Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
