Roles & Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, and manage customer, vendor, subcontractor, transportation, freight forwarding, and warehousing agreements. Identify contractual and operational risks, including liability, indemnities, cargo loss or damage, penalties, claims, and service-level obligations. Coordinate with the Corporate Legal Department to ensure appropriate legal review of all agreements. Ensure compliance with internal approval procedures, the Delegation of Authority (DOA), and authorised contract execution requirements. Maintain a central contract register and monitor contractual obligations, renewals, expiry dates, and termination notices. Identify and coordinate appropriate insurance arrangements to mitigate operational and contractual risks, excluding direct responsibility for credit and finance risk management. Work closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other departments to ensure commercially sound and operationally feasible agreements. Recommend improvements to contract templates, approval processes, and contractual risk controls.Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent relevant legal qualification. 5?8 years of experience in commercial contracts, contract management, or legal-commercial functions. Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain is strongly preferred. Good understanding of commercial contracts, contractual liability, indemnities, insurance, claims, and risk assessment. Familiarity with UAE commercial contracting practices and coordination with internal or external legal counsel.
